Job's Three friends

Picture
The book of Job reveals a sorrowful tale of a man who seemingly had it all and lost it all. Thousands of years later, Job's very name is synonymous with sorrow and hardship. Yet, we rarely hear the names Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar, Job's three friends.

They wept and mourned with Job before offering their heartfelt advice mixed with false accusations and lengthy to-do lists that just might aide Job. God was not pleased with Job's three friends and responded by instructing them to make sacrifices to Job. The story reveals the importance God places on advice- something Christians offer freely and occasionally with little thought.

In Job's Three Friends, we'll uncover the common mindsets behind Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar, and practical ways to overcome them in our own lives and relationships.
